Bakhtiyar Mahmud oghlu Vahabzadeh (Azerbaijani: Bəxtiyar Mahmud oğlu Vahabzadə; August 16, 1925 – February 13, 2009), or simply Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh, was an Azerbaijani poet, dramatist, lyricist, translator, professor, and politician.[1] He is often regarded as one of the greatest contemporary poets of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
