Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) is a graduate medical university in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[5] The university was established in 1965. It offers postgraduate degrees in various medical specialties. These programs encompass MPH, MD, MS, PhD, and various diploma degrees.[6] It does not offer undergraduate MBBS or BDS degrees.[7]

It also serves as a teaching hospital. In 2022, a 750-bed super specialised hospital was established in BSMMU.[8][9][10]
