Barzani (tribe)

The Barzani tribe (Kurdish: Eşîra Barzanî)[1] is a Kurdish tribe and tribal confederation of various neighboring tribes inhabiting Barzan in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.[2] The Barzanis are mostly Naqshbandi[3] and one of the most influential tribes in Kurdistan.
