Bear Creek Studio is a residential recording studio located in a barn on a 10 acre farm in Woodinville, Washington .[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4] A number of notable artists have recorded at the studio since its establishment in 1977, including: Brandi Carlile ,[ 5] Train ,[ 6] the Lumineers ,[ 4] [ 7] Soundgarden ,[ 8] [ 9] Foo Fighters ,[ 10] James Brown ,[ 9] Modest Mouse ,[ 11] L.A. Edwards ,[ 12] Geoff Tate ,[ 13] The Tragically Hip , Eric Clapton [ 4] and Lionel Richie .[ 4]
