Lieutenant General (Ret.) Bibit Waluyo (born 5 August 1949) is an Indonesian politician and former high ranking military officer who served as the governor of Central Java from 2008 until 2013, when he was defeated by Ganjar Pranowo. Prior to entering politics, he was an officer in the Indonesian Army, rising to the rank of lieutenant general and going on to hold the command of Kodam Jaya.[1]
