William Glenn McCahan (June 7, 1921 – July 3, 1986) was an American professional baseball player and right-handed pitcher in the Major Leagues with the Philadelphia Athletics from 1946 to 1949. Born in Philadelphia, he was listed as 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) tall and 200 pounds (91 kg). He graduated from Duke University and served in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II, attaining the rank of second lieutenant and earning his pilot's wings.[1] McCahan also played professional basketball for the Syracuse Nationals of the National Basketball League.
