William Shine (born July 4, 1963) is a former White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications in the first administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.[1][2][3] He spent most of his career as a producer and executive at Fox News. Most recently, he was co-president of Fox News, a position he held for 9 months before he was forced out on May 1, 2017.[4][5][6] On March 8, 2019, the White House announced that Shine was resigning to advise President Trump's 2020 presidential campaign.[7]
