Biting the Apple is an album led by saxophonist Dexter Gordon recorded in 1976 and released on the Danish SteepleChase label.[1][2] The album was released in the U.S. in collaboration with Inner City Records. The album's title refers to Gordon's return to New York City for a 1976 performance after living abroad for many years.[3][4]
