Bob Peterson (born March 15, 1962)[1] is an American politician who served as a Republican member of the Ohio Senate from the 17th District, where served as President Pro Tempore.[2][3] From 2011 to 2012, he served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 85th district.[4] Before being elected to the Ohio House of Representatives, he was Fayette County Commissioner for 14 years.[5] He was first elected as a state representative in November 2010.[6]
Peterson was elected to a full-term to the Ohio Senate on November 6, 2012 and was sworn-in January, 2013.[7]
