Boituva is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba.[2] The population is 62,170 (2020 est.) in an area of 248.97 km2.[3] The elevation is 637 metres.
It is known as the "National Skydive Capital". In Tupi, Boituva means "many snakes".
