Boomerang is an American comedy television series, serving as a sequel to the 1992 film of the same name. The series premiered on February 12, 2019, on BET.

On April 2, 2019, it was announced that the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on March 11, 2020.^[1] In August 2021, co-producer Lena Waithe announced that the series would not return for a third season.^[2]
