Bovingdon is a village in Hertfordshire, England, 4 miles (6.4 km) south-west of Hemel Hempstead, and a civil parish within the local authority area of Dacorum. Situated close to the Buckinghamshire border, it forms the largest part of the ward of Bovingdon, Flaunden and Chipperfield, which had a population of 4,600 at the 2001 census,[2] increasing to 9,000 at the 2011 Census.[1]
