Bowling Green is a city in and the county seat of Wood County, Ohio, United States,[10] located 20 miles (32 km) southwest of Toledo. The population was 30,808 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Toledo metropolitan area and a member of the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments.[11] Bowling Green is the home of Bowling Green State University.
