Winter Youth Olympics appearances (overview)

Brazil competed at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, South Korea, from 19 January to 1 February 2024. This was Brazil's fourth appearance at the Winter Youth Olympic Games, having competed at every Games since the inaugural edition in 2012.[1][2][3][4]

Bobsledder André Luiz da Silva and alpine skier Alice Padilha were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony.[5]

Zion Bethônico became the first athlete from Brazil to win a Winter Youth Olympics (or Winter Olympics) medal. On 20 January, Bethônico won the bronze medal in the men's snowboard cross event.[6]
