Brembate di Sopra (Bergamasque: Brembàt Sura) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 miles) northeast of Milan and about 7 km (4 mi) northwest of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,190 and an area of 4.3 square kilometres (2 square miles).[3]
