Brian Smith (born July 15, 1979) is an American football coach and former player. He has been the defensive coordinator and safeties coach for Rice University since 2023. He has coached at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Michigan, and in the NFL with the New York Jets and the Philadelphia Eagles.
