Briann January (born January 11, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and current assistant coach for the Motor City Cruise of the NBA G League.[1][2] After a successful college career at Arizona State University, January was drafted by the Indiana Fever with the sixth overall pick in the 2009 WNBA draft. She has also played for the Phoenix Mercury, the Connecticut Sun, and the Seattle Storm.
