Broderie anglaise (French, "English embroidery", pronounced[bʁɔdʁiɑ̃ɡlɛz]) is a whiteworkneedlework technique incorporating features of embroidery, cutwork and needle lace that became associated with England, due to its popularity there in the 19th century.
