Bukit Kayu Hitam is a small town in Kubang Pasu District, Kedah, Malaysia. It is situated near the Malaysia–Thailand border and the main and busiest road border crossing between Malaysia and Thailand is located here.[1] On the Thai side of the border is the village of Ban Danok, where the Sadao checkpoint is located.
