There is a population of Burmese people in Japan (在日ミャンマー人, 在日ビルマ人, Zainichi Myanmājin, Zainichi Birumajin, Burmese: ဂျပန်ရောက်မြန်မာလူမျိုး). In December 2023, there were 86,546 Burmese living in Japan.[3][4]
