Buzet (Croatian: [bǔzet]; Italian: Pinguente; Latin: Piquentum) is a town in Istria, west Croatia, population 6,133 (2011).[4] The historical core of Buzet dates back to the Middle Ages, and today Buzet is known as the town of truffles.[5] Buzet is also known as the home of Croatian motorsport, and every year the "Buzetskidani" hill climb race is held here. It is currently part of the European Hill Climb Championship.
