Byron Township is a civil township of Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 26,927 at the 2010 census,[4] an increase from 20,317 at the 2010 census.[5]

Byron Township is part of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area and is located just southwest of the city of Grand Rapids.
