Calenzano (Italian pronunciation: [kalenˈdzaːno]) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 11 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of Florence. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 15,557 and an area of 76.9 square kilometres (29.7 sq mi).[3]
