Amphoricarpus Spruce ex Miers

Cariniana is a genus of trees in the family Lecythidaceae, first described as a genus in 1842.[2][3] The entire genus is native to South America.[1] Many are of importance for timber production.[4][5][6][7] Species of this genus may be known commonly as jequitibá.[8]
