The Catholic Church in Sierra Leone is part of the worldwide Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope in Rome.
There are approximately 800,000 Catholics in Sierra Leone - around 14% of the total population.[1] The country is divided into four dioceses in one ecclesiastical province.
