Chaber, chaver or ḥaber (Hebrew: חָבֵר ḥāḇēr, Hebrew pronunciation: [χaˈveʁ]) is a Hebrew term meaning "associate"; "colleague"; "fellow"; "companion"; or "friend". It appears twice in the Hebrew Bible, and is used in various ways in rabbinic sources.
