Champai Soren[2][3][4] (born 1 November 1956) is an Indian politician currently serving as the 7th and current Chief Minister of Jharkhand since 2 February 2024 after the arrest of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on charges of money laundering.[5][6]
