Champigny-sur-Veude (French pronunciation: [ʃɑ̃piɲi syʁ vød]) is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. The castle features in Madame de Lafayette's short novel Histoire de la Princesse de Montpensier (1662).[3]
