Charles Frederick Simmons (1880 – 6 July 1911) was an English footballer who played as a forward for Spanish clubs including Athletic Bilbao.[1][2] The highlight of his career was scoring in the 1909 Copa del Rey Final to help Club Ciclista win the title for the first time in its history. He is best known for being the only English captain that Athletic Bilbao ever had in its 120-year-history.[3]
