Cheiry (French: [ʃeʁi]; Arpitan: Chêri, locally Tsèri[3] [tsɛˈʁi] ) is a former municipality in the district of Broye in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. On 1 January 2021 the former municipality of Cheiry merged into the municipality of Surpierre.[4]
