Chikugo (筑後市, Chikugo-shi) is a city located in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.[1][2] As of 31 January 2024[update], the city had an estimated population of 49,259 in 20980 households, and a population density of 1200 persons per km2.[3] The total area of the city is 41.78 km2 (16.13 sq mi).
