The China-Myanmar community with a shared future (Chinese: 中缅命运共同体, lit. 'China-Myanmar Community of Common Destiny', Burmese: မြန်မာ-တရုတ် အေးအတူပူအမျှ အသိုက်အဝန်း[1], lit. 'Myanmar-China community in weal and woe') or China-Myanmar community with shared future,[2] is a political consensus reached between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
During Xi Jinping’s visit to Myanmar from January 17 to 18, 2020, he met with Myanmar President Win Myint and State counselor Aung San Suu Kyi. The willing to build the Community was proposed in the Joint Statement of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar signed by China and Myanmar.[3]
