Chino (茅野市, Chino-shi) is a city located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 March 2019[update], the city had an estimated population of 55,673 in 23,236 households,[1] and a population density of 210 persons per km². The total area of the city is 266.59 square kilometres (102.93 sq mi).
