Choe Han-gi (Korean최한기; 1803–1877) was a Korean Confucian scholar and philosopher.[1][2][3][4][5] He is known for integrating Eastern philosophy with Western science in pre-industrial Korea.[6][7]

His art name was Hyegang (혜강), and according to some sources, it is mentioned that he also used Paedong (패동).[8][5][6]
