Chris Weaver Band

Chris Weaver Band, sometimes referred to as CWB, is an Americana/rock band led by the dynamic singer Chris Weaver. Based in Nashville, the band's eclectic sound incorporates rock, blues, R&B, Mo-Town, and Americana music influences. The band has released several albums, including Standing in Line in 2010, American Dreamer in 2015, and the live album Live in Brazil in 2017.

Born in West Virginia, Chris Weaver began his career with a stint in local radio before moving to Nashville. His band has become a staple in the Nashville live music scene, known for performing at The Stage on Broadway and the Tin Roof. Weaver's unique blend of southern rock, blues, country, and pop, augmented by horns and percussion, has earned him recognition as a "Top 10 act to follow in 2013" by Billboard. His song "California High," inspired by a road trip to Los Angeles, was featured in the soundtrack of the 2013 motion picture A Matter of Time.

The band has gained a significant following in Brazil, collaborating with sertanejo stars such as Fernando & Sorocaba and Marcos & Belutti, leading to the Live in Brazil album and DVD. This international success showcases the band's appeal across diverse cultures and musical tastes.

In addition to international tours, the Chris Weaver Band, with the help of Go West Productions, has performed across the United States for major corporations like Sonic, PETCO, PSCU, and Highmark Health. They have opened for renowned acts such as John Mellencamp, Earth Wind and Fire, Chicago, and Heart, showcasing their versatility and wide appeal.

Weaver's musical journey is influenced by various artists, including the Beatles, Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills & Nash, Joe Cocker, and Bob Seger. His father, a musician with a band for 25 years, also significantly influenced his musical style.
