Christine Leo Roussel (born January 20, 1939)[1] is an American author, art historian, curator, photographer, and consultant.[2] She worked under Thomas Hoving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and then created her own studio, Roussel Art Conservation.[3] She is known for her knowledge of the art work in her native New York City, specializing in sculpture conservation. She was an assistant to Nelson Rockefeller, and is the author of The Art of Rockefeller Center which provides a detailed history of all the works located within Rockefeller Center.[4] Her niece is Academy Award-winning actress Melissa Leo.
