Chukam (Persian : چوكام )[ a] is a city in, and the capital of, Chukam District of Khomam County , Gilan province, Iran .[ 3] As the village of Bala Mahalleh-ye Chukam, it was the capital of Chukam Rural District [ 5] [ b] until its capital was transferred to the village of Eshkik .[ 3]
