Cislago (Western Lombard: Cislagh [tʃiˈzlaːk]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southeast of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,118 and an area of 10.9 square kilometres (4.2 sq mi).[3]
The municipality of Cislago contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Massina, Santa Maria, and Cascina Visconta.
Cislago borders the municipalities of Gerenzano, Gorla Minore, Limido Comasco, Mozzate, Rescaldina, Turate.
