City Hall (formerly the Council House) was built as the seat of government of the city of Bristol, in the south west of England, opening in 1956. Designed in the 1930s, with construction delayed by the Second World War, it is in a restrained Neo-Georgian style, forming a wide curve along one side of College Green, opposite Bristol Cathedral and at the foot of Park Street in the Bristol city centre, and is a grade II* listed building.[1]
