Cochin College of Engineering and Technology / MGM College of Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences is a self-financing engineering college affiliated with the University of Calicut up to 2014 admission[1] later affiliated with the newly formed technical university, A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University from 2015 onwards[2] and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It was established in 2012 at Athipatta, Edayoor Panchayath near Valanchery town in Tirur Taluk in Malappuram District.
A Public Charitable and Educational Trust manages Cochin College of Engineering and Technology called World Wide Knowledge Foundation having a registered office in Valanchery. Later it was handed over to the MGM Group of institutions founded by Dr. Geevarghese Yohannan.
