Cochliobolus miyabeanus (teleomorph, formerly known as Helminthosporium oryzae, anamorph Bipolaris oryzae) is a fungus that causes brown spot disease in rice.

It was considered for use by the US as a biological weapon against Japan during World War II.[1]
