Colcannon (Irish: cál ceannann, meaning 'white-headed cabbage' [ˌkɑːlˠ ˈcan̪ˠən̪ˠ]) is a traditional Irish dish of mashed potatoes with cabbage. It is a popular dish on Saint Patrick's Day[1] and on the feast day of St. Brigid.[2]
