Cottens (French: [kɔtɑ̃s]; Arpitan: Cotens, locally Kotin[3] [koˈtɛ̃] ) is a municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Its German name of Cottingen has now largely fallen out of use.
