The player assembles a team of criminals and is sent on missions to infiltrate, steal, and defeat enemies in shooter gameplay. The game was initially released for Windows through the Epic Games Store on 28 March 2023. The game released a few months later for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 15 June 2023. Crime Boss was released on Steam on 18 June 2024. It received mixed reviews from critics.
