Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil (born 22 October 1935) is a former Indian politician, best known as the governor of Bihar, West Bengal and Tripura. He was a leader of the Indian National Congress from Maharashtra state.[2]

He received the Padma Shri award in 1991 for social work.[3]

On 24 December 2018, he joined the Nationalist Congress Party.[citation needed]
