DanChurchAid (Danish: Folkekirkens Nødhjælp) is a Danish humanitarian non governmental organisation aimed at supporting the world's poorest. It was founded in 1922, and is rooted in the Danish National Evangelical Lutheran Church. It is a member of ACT Development, a global alliance of over 140 churches and related humanitarian organisations, working to create positive and sustainable change in the lives of poor and marginalized people.[1]

DanChurchAid's stated aim is to "assist the world’s poorest to lead a life in dignity, regardless of race, creed, political or religious affiliation.".[1]

Since 2014, the secretary general of DanChurchAid has been Birgitte Qvist-Sørensen. In 2017 it had a total income of DKK 691.5 million, including 91.6 million in EU grants.[2]
