Danesfort CLG

Danesfort is a Gaelic Athletic Association club, based in Danesfort in County Kilkenny, that competes in the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship. The club's grounds are located approximately 4 miles south of Kilkenny city on the Waterford Road.

The club was founded in 1922 and takes its players from a broad area south of Kilkenny city, encompassing Danesfort itself as well as Burnchurch, Cuffesgrange and part of Kells. The club's catchment area borders that of rival clubs Bennettsbridge GAA to the east, Graigue–Ballycallan GAA to the west, Carrickshock GAA and Dunnamaggin GAA to the south and city club James Stephens GAA to the north.^{[citation needed]}
