Darende (Turkish: Darende [daɾændæ] ⓘ) is a municipality and district of Malatya Province, Turkey.[3] Its area is 1,482 km2,[4] and its population is 24,588 (2022).[2] It lies 46 miles (74 km) to the northwest of Malatya,[5] 87 miles (140 km) south of Sivas,[6] 110 miles (180 km) east of Kayseri.[7]
