Darrell Ray Green (born February 15, 1960) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback for 20 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Washington Redskins. He is considered to be one of the greatest cornerbacks to have ever played in the NFL, Green was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.[1]
The self-proclaimed "itty bitty guy,"[2] Green was nicknamed "the Ageless Wonder" by his peers and the general media[3][4] for his ability to maintain a high level of play well into the twilight of his career.
