Al-Jāmiʿah al-Ahliyyah Dār al-ʿUlūm Muʿīn al-Islām (Arabic: الجامعة الأهلية دار العلوم معين الإسلام), popularly known as the Hāṭhazārī Madrasah (Bengali: হাটহাজারী মাদ্রাসা) or the Great Madrasah (Bengali: বড় মাদ্রাসা, romanizedBoṛo Madraśa), is a Qawmi institution of Hathazari, located in Bangladesh's Chittagong District.[4] Established in 1901, it is the largest and oldest Deobandi seminary in the country.[5][6] According to a 2009 National Bureau of Asian Research report, the highly reputed institution ranks among top ten madrasah in the subcontinent.[7]
